Visa Requirements

General Visa Requirements (All Applicants)

All applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Fully completed and signed visa application form

    • ONE passport photo attached to the application

    • ONE copy of the completed application form

  • ONE (1) recent passport-sized photo

    • White background

    • Clear and high quality

    • Taken within the last 6 months

  • Original passport

    • Valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended travel

    • Must contain at least one blank visa page

  • ONE (1) copy of the passport information page

Tourist Visa Requirements

In addition to the general requirements:

  • Proof of confirmed travel itinerary or round-trip flight reservation

  • Proof of accommodation in the United Arab Emirates

  • Applicants who are not citizens of the country of application must provide:

    • Copy of a valid residency permit, green card, or valid visa

  • Additional supporting documents may be requested depending on nationality

Business Visa Requirements

In addition to the general requirements:

  • Invitation letter from the host company or organization in the UAE stating:

    • Purpose of travel

    • Duration of stay

    • Contact details of the inviting entity

  • Letter from the applicant’s employer stating:

    • Job title

    • Purpose of travel

    • Confirmation of financial responsibility

  • Proof of business relationship may be requested

Transit Visa Requirements (If Applicable)

In addition to the general requirements:

  • Proof of confirmed onward travel

  • Valid visa for the next destination, if required

  • Proof of transit duration within the UAE

Diplomatic & Official Passport Holders

Diplomatic Passport

  • Completed and signed visa application form

  • ONE passport photo

  • Original passport + ONE copy

  • Diplomatic note stating:

    • Purpose of travel

    • Dates of travel

Official / Special Passport

  • Completed and signed visa application form

  • ONE passport photo

  • Original passport + ONE copy

  • Official note stating:

    • Purpose of travel

    • Dates of travel

Processing Time

  • Standard processing time:
     Approximately 7–10 business days

  • Processing time may vary depending on:

    • Nationality

    • Visa type

    • Additional administrative or security review

Applicants are advised to apply well in advance of their intended travel date.

Visa Fees

  • Visa fees vary by nationality and visa type

  • Fees are subject to change without prior notice

  • Applicants should confirm the applicable fee with the Embassy before submission

  • The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documentation if required

  • Submission of a complete application does not guarantee visa approval

  • Incomplete applications may result in processing delays or refusal
